FHA Changes Loan Limits Change for 2014!

Please be advised HUD issued a Mortgagee Letter Friday announcing the new limits. There are some detrimental changes taking place. All high cost areas have been reduced from the prior high balance limits set out in 2008. Most or all low cost counties have been reduced as well Inland Empire. San Bernardino and Riverside County have been reduced to $355,350. On that note there will no longer be FHA High Balance limits available in San Bernardino and Riverside County which was previously allowed up to $500,000. LA County and Orange County have been reduced to $625,500. These changes go into effect as of January 1, 2014 so we have through the end of the month to pull case numbers on anything potential under current loan amount guides.
